Requirements
- 5+ Years of experience in DevOps, SRE or related roles
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in handling cloud infrastructure at scale, ideally in a SAAS company
- Comfortable working with logging and monitoring tools like Cloudwatch, Datadog, Splunk etc
- Familiar with AWS Scaling and Kubernetes
- Excellent debugging and troubleshooting skills
- Exposure to DB performance tuning and CI/CD automation
- Strong scripting skills in Python
- Experience handling event streaming systems at scale is a plus
Responsibilities
- Be accountable for top notch service reliability and application performance
- Capacity planning and infrastructure cost optimization
- Ensuring plans and mechanisms are in place for disaster recovery and high availability
- Managing the CI/CD pipeline and releases
- Build tools and automation for operational processes
- Ensure infrastructure security and compliance
- Monitoring, maintaining and improving the operational infrastructure
- Troubleshoot and provide L2 support when necessary
